and I would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the beautiful
home which you built for us. From our first meeting in September
2002 thru the start of construction, January 2003, to the day I received
the key, April 10, 2003, it was a completely enjoyable experience.
The
quality of materials and construction were only surpassed by the
dedication of your crews both in-house and sub-contractors. The best
example is the crew who dragged tools and equipment to the house, on
a tarp, up a 500' driveway because their vehicle couldn't get
through the snow! And, watching your framing crew install the
trusses was poetry in motion.
Specific
thanks passed to: Karen Paarfus whose grace and patience in
responding to my questions and concerns was exceptional; Preston
'the earthmover' whose excavation and grading of the site has
defeated all efforts of mother nature to intrude into the basement;
Roger Clatterbuck who was always on top of all aspects of
construction and kept me informed and involved; Trish Shifflett,
coordinator extraordinaire, whose attention to detail and follow up
brought all the pieces together; Linda Clatterbuck, whose calm and
listening ability reflected her acute business acumen; Jay Huffines
of Stuart Kitchens who redesigned my pedestrian kitchen floor plan
to make Julia Childs proud; Ken Owens of Shaw's Carpets who sat on
the floor with us to mix and match carpet, resilient flooring, and
laminates, with cabinet and countertop samples thrown into the mix,
until he was sure we were satisfied with the selections; Roger Gager
of Kellogg Corporation whose assistance and recommendations at the
electrical walk thru were complemented by his superior expertise in
installing the electrical system. Your HVAC, plumbing, siding, and
roofing crews also did superior work. Unfortunately, I missed the
opportunity to identify them by name.
Anthony, from
the day of our first meeting I realized you were a professional. My
realization was affirmed during every step of planning, scheduling,
materials acquisition and construction. Thank you for our home.
