The propane tank is installed

Things are really moving along quickly now. It's been three days since the insulation was installed and they are working on the drywall, screened in porch and they've installed the propane tank. We're hoping to be in by Christmas. What a present that would be!

Working on the screened porch

The porch is supported by pressure treated lumber and the roof is also wood. The rest of the porch is composite material. We chose composite because it is lower maintenance and very attractive.

The roof is finished

Septic, screened porch & siding

What has always baffled us throughout the process is that sometimes it seems like nothing is being done, then in a few days there is a quantum leap in progress. It's only been a couple of weeks since they blew in the insulation, then put up the drywall and buried the propane tank. Now the porch is finished, the siding is up, and the septic is almost finished. All we can say is WOW!
