The
framing has begun
Another happy surprise
happened 8/20/05. The wood was on the lot and we were expecting
framing to start but it was off and on rain all week. We certainly
didn't expect to see this when we arrived Saturday morning!
The
selection process
One of the "GREAT" things
about Graystone Homes is that you are getting a "custom home".
Elizabeth and I spoke with several other builders in our home
search and when it comes to options most give you a choice of
"this...or that". For instance: moving a wall out 6 feet (like we
did with our garage!), getting a specific carpet or having a
unique light fixture, forget it. With Graystone, you can get what
"you" want! That really means a lot to us. We are providing
special dimmer switches for our home and Graystone has no problem
installing them for us.
The selection process usually
takes three visits. For us it took four. We just couldn't make up
our minds because there is SO much to decide on. We worked with
Beverly and what patience she has! We had lots of fun picking out
flooring, lighting, carpets, appliances, tile, sinks and hardware,
not to mention cabinets and countertops. Whew! Now all we have to
do is see it all come together now that the selections are made.
